RANDOM PREACHER THOUGHTS

  • It is not Revelations. (plural) It is Revelation- without the “s”.

  • Have you ever noticed how a warm hug and a bright smile from someone can make your day? Share that feeling!

  • Does anyone really believe that forgiveness awaits those who cannot forgive?

  • Kids are such a marvelous blessing. You can just sense God’s love in them. Too bad we have to grow up.

  • Why didn’t Jesus just quit? He was constantly harassed and mistreated. He knew the cross lay ahead of him. Surely he could have done without all the hassle and pain. Why didn’t he just quit?

  • “Share Groups”- Couldn’t this be anywhere we dare to open up about our faith and share what Jesus has done for us?

  • If you will not speak to a brother or sister in the church now, will you speak to them in heaven?

  • Is there anything more beautiful than the glow of a new Christian? What an awesome sight to see a soul saved!

  • If we can’t greet each other with a holy kiss – how about a holy hug!

  • Does anyone sincerely believe that God will accept any type of moral behavior because he loves us? Is any sin worth taking this risk?

  • If you dare to lead, you will be criticized. It is a given.

  • If someone disagrees with me, then they are wrong. Why do we think this way?

  • If God is love- we should be too, right?

  • If our bodies are the “temple of God” then why all this fuss over buildings?

  • I wonder what kind of songs will be sung in heaven. Will I refuse to sing if one of the songs is not my favorite?

  • Why is it easier sometimes to be kinder and more gracious to people we barely know, than someone we love?

  • Being caught in the grip of a grudge is an awful feeling. It is better to let it go.

  • It doesn’t get any better than Sunday morning with the saints- at least this side of heaven. See you then!

Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. (2nd Peter 1:2)
